A warmer, sunny Monday

Likely rain Tuesday & Wednesday

PORTLAND, Oregon — A one day, sunny warm up on this Monday as Portland will see 70 degrees high temperatures.

A strong system arrives by Tuesday afternoon bringing developing, widespread rainfall across the region, followed by heavy showers with hail and possible thunder Wednesday.  Valley high temperatures Tuesday may struggle to reach 60 degrees, thanks to a rainy afternoon.  Snow levels Wednesday will lower to near 4,000 feet.

The weather pattern dries out Thursday, but a weak front will bring a few Friday showers and possibly a lingering Saturday rain chance.   Right now, Sunday and Memorial Day show dry weather with high temperatures in the 70s.
