ESPN college football analyst Mark May was one of many who thought that the Ohio State Buckeyes didn’t belong in the inaugural College Football Playoff, and Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer certainly hasn’t forgotten about it.
Ohio State celebrated winning the national championship with a trophy ceremony at Ohio Stadium with more than 20,000 fans in attendance Saturday, and Meyer also met with students in a jam-packed Ohio Union on campus Friday night. Students sang the alma mater, and Meyer asked everyone to join together to send a single message: “We are worthy.”
