Showers possible Sunday, but mainly dry

Rain returns for the middle part of next week.
KGW Forecast: 5 p.m., Saturday May 18, 2024

PORTLAND, Oregon — We saw a nice start to the weekend with some sunshine and clouds, but by late Saturday afternoon a weak system brought in some scattered showers. There's a chance we could see some showers Sunday too, but rainfall amounts are going to be on the light side. Temperatures on Sunday will remain on the cooler side for this time of year, topping out in the low 60s.

Monday we'll see the warmest day of the week with highs around 70 degrees and mostly sunny skies. Showers set in Tuesday afternoon , with Wednesday being the rainiest day of the week. Showers should end on Thursday.

Looking into next weekend for Memorial Day weekend we could see warmer weather and dry conditions.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
