Rapid warm-up on the way

Possible record highs Friday and Saturday

PORTLAND, Oregon — A Frost Advisory for Wednesday morning in out-lying areas and over the Coast Range where temps may be near freezing early this morning.  Everyone warms up Wednesday afternoon, with highs temperatures around 70-degrees under sunny skies with mostly light winds.

The sky stays mainly clear from Wednesday into the weekend and the 7day is dry.

We punch into the 80s Thursday as offshore winds develop.

Friday will be the warmest of the days ahead, with a record high of 90-degrees expected.  Saturday will also be close to 90-degrees as east breezes fade.

Mother’s Day brings more comfortable temperatures with highs around 80-degrees and plenty of sun, thanks to a west breeze off of Pacific waters.

Warm, dry weather continues next week.
