PORTLAND, Ore — Some recent Portland-area home listings only lasted days before before buyers snapped up the homes.
In one Portland neighborhood, the median number of days a home lasted on the market during the third quarter was just four days, eight days shorter than the same time last year. Inside many ZIP codes, including in Portland, the number for Q3 2020 stood only a touch higher. Locales in Beaverton, Gresham, Troutdale, Aloha and elsewhere made the list, too.
SLIDESHOW: Fastest-selling Portland-area homes
In fact, across nearly 100 Portland metro neighborhoods, the median amount of time homes sat on the market was just 9.9 days, almost half the 19-day median seen the prior Q3.
