Police search for gunman in Kelso shooting

KELSO, Wash. — One person was shot in a home in Kelso Tuesday night.

Police say they were called to the home in the 1400 block of S. 4th Avenue just after 7pm.

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police believe he was shot by a stranger.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'5" tall, with a medium build, frizzy gray hair and a beard.

Deputies searched the area around the home with a K-9 and a drone, but could not find the shooter.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information or video evidence to contact their office at 360-577-3092.
