PORTLAND, Ore. — The Friday afternoon commute is already off to a tough start for anyone traveling southbound on Interstate 5 through North Portland.
The I-5 Southbound ramp to the Fremont Bridge closed at 11 a.m. Friday morning as the Oregon Department of Transportation moves onto another phase of the Interstate 405 ramps project
Crews will continuing working on bridge expansion joints through the weekend and the ramp is scheduled to reopen by 10 a.m. Monday.
Even though Monday is the Veteran's Day Holiday, this likely to create some extra congestion for the Monday morning commute.
