Blazers' Zach Collins to miss at least 4 months after shoulder surgery

The Blazers said Collins will be re-evaluated in approximately 4 months, which places his return to the court at the beginning of March, at the earliest.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Trail Blazers announced that forward Zach Collins had surgery to repair his left labrum on Tuesday and that he'll be re-evaluated in four months.

The team said Collins' surgery was successful, but the re-evaluation timetable places his return to the court in the beginning of March, at the earliest.

Collins dislocated his left shoulder during Portland's game against the Mavericks on Oct. 27.

Collins started the first three games of the season at power forward and averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He shot 47.4% from the field and 42.9% from the 3-point line.
