One more day in the 70s

Wet, cool weather returns Thursday

PORTLAND, Oregon — Mostly sunny and warm 70s today with a touch of high cloudiness in the sky.   Minus a possible trace of moisture, increasing cloudiness Wednesday will bring more dry weather with temperatures holding in the 60s.

The dry weather ends Thursday as the first of several systems moves into the Northwest.  I expect steady rain much of Thursday and likely rain more hours than not Friday and Saturday.   Current timing suggest a dry break Sunday morning, followed by increasing afternoon rain.

Rainy weather stays with us through much of next week with cool temperatures.  Highs will be below average, in the upper 50s to about 60-degrees most days.

Snow will fall as low as the Cascade passes this weekend, especially Sunday night into Monday morning.
