Weekend begins, ends dry

Showers in the middle

PORTLAND, Oregon — Oregon stays mainly clear overnight and for the first part of Saturday.

But the clouds will move in around mid-day. That’s also when the east wind ends, and cooler southwesterly winds kick in.

Showers follow Saturday afternoon, but the rain will be light.

We’ve got scattered showers Saturday night into Sunday morning, but then the clouds clear Saturday afternoon.

The weekend will be cooler, with highs in the upper 60s Saturday and low 60s Sunday.

Next week begins with sunny, warm weather, before rain returns later Wednesday and for the end of next week.

Have a great Saturday.
