Driver flees after hitting pedestrian in Gresham crosswalk, police say

A driver fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk at West Powell Boulevard and Southwest Duniway Avenue in Gresham on Sunday, June 16, 2019, police said.

GRESHAM, Ore. — Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk and fled the scene Sunday night in Gresham.

The crash happened at 6:47 p.m. at West Powell Boulevard and Southwest Duniway Avenue. The suspect vehicle was described as an older model (2002-2006), gold, four-door Toyota Camry.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
