About the Thunder

Russell Westbrook was the star of the Thunder's win in Game 3. After he was outplayed by Damian Lillard in the first two games, Westbrook finished with 33 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. He also made half of his field goals (11 for 22) and four of his six 3-point attempts. ... Thunder star forward Paul George had 22 points in Game 3, but continues to struggle to make shots. After shooting 3 for 16 from the field in Game 3, he is shooting 36.7% for this series on field goals and 27.6% from the 3-point line. During the regular season, George shot 43.8% and 38.6%, respectively. ... Oklahoma City overcame its 3-point shooting woes in Game 3, making 15 of 29 (51.7%) after it missed 51 of its first 61 3-pointers in the first two games of the series. The Thunder got a big boost from their role players: Jerami Grant, Terrence Ferguson and Dennis Schroder combined to make 9 of 12 from the 3-point line in Game 3 after combining to hit 2 of 23 in Games 1 and 2.
