PORTLAND, Ore. — Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman's body was found in Northeast Portland Sunday morning.
Officers were called just after 11:30 a.m. to a wooded area in the 6200 Block of Northeast Hassalo Street, where someone had reported seeing a body.
Emergency responders at the scene found a deceased adult female.
Based on the preliminary investigation, homicide detectives and members of the forensic evidence division were called to the scene.
Police did not release any further details.
