PORTLAND, Ore. — Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be record travel days at Portland International Airport.
Spokesman Steve Johnson said an estimated 60,000 people will arrive or leave the airport Tuesday and another 60,000 will move through it Wednesday
That will set a two-day record for this time of year, up by 20,000 people, according to Johnson.
“And we expect to hit another travel record for the year. That will be six consecutive years of growth,” he said.
Altogether, PDX expects 384,000 travelers over seven days.

Which leads to the question of where to park.
The airport website has a good graphic to answer that question. You can find it here. Take a look at the bar graphs. They will show you how full the various lots are getting.
Economy is the lowest price for parking at $12 a day. It also fills up the fastest.
Area park and fly's are filling up too so call ahead before you go.
The airport suggests you try to arrive two hours before your flight to make up for traffic congestion and other issues that can arise with so many people doing their holiday travel.
