PORTLAND, Ore. – A man who was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle in Southeast Portland has died at an area hospital.
The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on March 9. Portland police said 65-year-old Wes W. Hatton was in a crosswalk when a driver heading southbound on Southeast 30th Avenue turned right onto Belmont Street and hit him.
Hatton died on March 10.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No arrests or citations have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
