PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police arrested an Oklahoma murder suspect during a sex trafficking operation in Portland Thursday evening.
The suspect, 36-year-old Alonzo John Kelly, responded to an online ad used in the investigation and went to a hotel in Southeast Portland, police said.
Officers arrested Kelly and booked him into the Multnomah County Jail. Police say the suspect provided them with a false name. Officers later learned Kelly's true identity and that he was wanted for murder in Oklahoma.
Authorities notified the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
