The Morrison Bridge is temporarily closed to traffic after a glitch in the system.

It occurred around 8 p.m. Monday night. The centerlocks that connect the two drawbridge leaves malfunctioned and the bridge was not able to reopen to traffic after a bridge lift. Crews are now working to make repairs.

Traffic officials say drivers should use alternate crossings such as the Hawthorne or Burnside bridges until repairs are made.
