BATTLE GROUND, Wash. – A Battle Ground book publishing company is caught up in the Philadelphia Eagles’ historic Super Bowl win.

The Philadelphia Inquirer, a newspaper, hired Pediment to create a coffee-table book, featuring glossy photos from its photographers, as well as game stories and stats. The book is going to be a 160-page hard-cover coffee table book.

Right now, you can order the book for $29.99 online. Click here for more information.

Pediment is no stranger to publishing books for newspapers.

In fact, the team has created hundreds of books for newspapers all over the country, including many books locally, from books about the Portland Timbers to the Oregon Ducks, and books about Portland’s history.

As for the Eagles, they took a chance, and started on the book even before the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

“It’s fun,” said Pediment’s Brad Fenison. “We are ‘mercenary fans,' we are fans of the team we have a book contract with. The Eagles was it this year, that’s the way it started, but then our employees have become Eagles fans as they go along,” he said.

“It’s something we have done before, but it’s always exciting, you capitalize on a book like this when the town is so starved for a championship like Eagles’ fans are."
